Gregg Conde is a filmmaker and educator based in New York City.
Originally from Manila and raised in Northern California, Gregg's passion for photography began in high school when he taught himself the craft using a 35mm camera purchased from a pawn shop and an enlarger he found abandoned on the streets of San Francisco. His interest in filmmaking took root at San Jose State University, where he documented his experiences using an early Canon DSLR in burst mode, capturing hours of stop-motion footage. This work was projected in art galleries at SJSU, helping to cultivate his personal, emotive, and expressive style of visual storytelling.
In 2005, Gregg relocated to New York City, where he taught photography and filmmaking to elementary and high school students while earning his MFA in Film from Columbia University.
As a cinematographer and director, Gregg is involved in a wide range of projects, including documentaries, commercials, narratives, and industrials. He is also a founding partner of Think/Feel, a production company where he serves as executive producer, overseeing business development and collaborating with clients such as Visa, Nike, Simon Property Group, L'Oréal, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In addition to his work in film, Gregg is an adjunct professor in Columbia University's Film MFA Program, a cinematography instructor for the Kashif Initiative, and a mentor to many emerging filmmakers.
